Grade 8 Students and Families,
As we all know, school administrators and teachers have been incredibly busy ensuring our children continue their education during this unprecedented time. Although, at this time, BC's Restart Plan is allowing for middle school children to return to school one day a week using social distancing protocols, it continues to restrict large social gatherings. The Saanich School District Middle School Administration Team has, therefore, decided that to celebrate the Grade 8 Farewell classes of 2020, they will:
- create an Admin virtual message for all the Grade 8 classes; and
- tentatively plan for a celebration in the Fall for the Grade 8 classes which will be revisited again at the end of August.
As the Grade 8 Farewell Coordinators, we would like to thank the Royal Oak Middle School staff and administration for their continued dedication to our children's education and wish all Grade 8 students and families the very best.
