Hello Royal Oak Families,


Welcome back to our 2018 Christmas School Fundraiser, with Purdys Chocolatier!!!  Thank you for your continued support throughout the years. The money raised has always been put towards bettering our children’s school experiences. We hope more money can be raised this year to continue this trend.


To start our fundraiser please:

a.     You will be either promoted to create a supporter account or

b.    If you have supported our fundraiser in the past you will be brought right to our campaign page.


3.    Here you are free to shop!


Purdys chocolates are made fresh in Vancouver from only 100% sustainable cocoa.  This program gives 25% of the sales back to the School PAC. The campaign runs October 31, 2018 to November 28th. Orders will be available for Pick up on December 17th, at Royal Oak Middle School in the main entrance.


The following dates are scheduled for pick up at ROMS:

Monday December 17th 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Wednesday December 19th  8:00 am to 9:00 am & 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Next PAC meeting


Please join us at our next PAC meeting, Thursday November 15th, in the learning commons at 6pm.

Our Guest speakers will be Kyle Goy, Emma Cottier and Darcy McNee, who will speak and share their Google Presentation for ROMS parents.  They will have the ROMS Chromebooks out and available for use and demonstrate how to use the G-Suite/Google Education tools. See last week’s PAC newsletter for more information.

Gift Card Fundraiser

Please consider helping our school raise funds by using FundScrip, which is a fundraising program that lets you raise funds simply by purchasing gift cards online for your everyday shopping (i.e. groceries, gas, gifts and household items). When you purchase a $100 grocery gift card, you receive the $100 card, but in addition, a percentage is donated to our fundraising campaign!  Gift cards will be sent directly to your home for your convenience, so get your holiday shopping done now, online, and be stress free for the holidays!


HOW DO I SIGN UP?                                                     

1.  Visit www.fundscrip.com                                  

2.  Click the Support A Group button to enter your information and the invitation code: SNN4XE

3.  Click the link in the confirmation email you will receive to complete your registration  

4.  Once registered, be sure to add your home address to receive your gift cards right to your door! (*note:  In order to keep shipping costs to a minimum, you can order up to 4 cards in one order, valued under $500, then shipping will be by Lettermail for only $0.95, and you can order as many times as you like because we will be running this fundraising campaign for the entire school year, no due dates…order at your own convenience)

5.  There are 3 payment methods to choose from:

Direct debit from your account.       

No fees.                                                                            

  • Credit Card

Donations are reduced by 1.99%

  • Online Bill Payment  

No fees.  Funds must be received by FundScrip prior to processing. (please allow 3 business days) simply add “Fundstream/FundScrip” as a payee in your online banking


This is a fundraiser that we will keep going all year, so you can make your gift card purchases at your own convenience.  It’s a great time to start thinking of gift ideas, stocking stuffers, teacher’s gifts, friends, co-workers, etc. It’s super easy to get started and purchase online, but if you have any questions feel free to email me at tanyaschley@hotmail.com
