Claremont’s transition process provides Grade 8 students and their families a variety of opportunities to visit and get to know Claremont Secondary School, including it’s wonderful staff and all that it has to offer as an academic institution. Please note the important deadlines that students will need to be aware of in order to ensure a successful transition.

Claremont course book is posted to the website. Families can familiarize themselves with course offering and pathways.
Feb. 18/19 Claremont Counsellor Visit
CMONT counsellors visit ROMS classes to discuss course options and hand out course selection forms.s
Feb. 11 Student Life @ CMONT
Pursuit of Excellence leadership students present a virtual, student led, tour of Claremont.
Feb. 25/26 Counsellor Appointments
Make a counselling appointment with a CMONT counsellor by phone call. This is a great place to ask course selection and pathway questions.
Feb. 16 Grade 8 Parent Night
Virtual Open House for incoming grade 8 parents hosted by CMONT Admin.

ROMS Cohorts visit Claremont
ROMS grade 8 classes visit Claremont for a tour and panel
