Hello Royal Oak Families,
Thank you to all who came to the AGM meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2019! The ROMS Parent Advisory Council (PAC) now has a brand new executive of nine parents for the 2019/2020 school year!
There are three positions available to be filled. If you know of anyone who is interested or would like to nominate someone, please contact the PAC at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join our team by volunteering for one or our vacant positions:
- The President- we are looking for one or two parents to join. The current Vice-President is willing to Co-President with someone who will take the president position.
- The Fundraiser Co-Ordinators- we currently fundraise with (Purdy’s) for Christmas & Easter chocolates, school supplies and Save around coupon books, if we can get one parent to take on each fundraiser, it would be easier for the fundraiser co-ordinators then one parent having to run all three.
- The Treasurer – you can learn this position as you go. If you are already comfortable with banking and basic bookkeeping, that’s a bonus!
All parents and guardians at ROMS are automatic members of the ROMS Parent Advisory Council and anyone of you can volunteer for our executive positions. It a great way to meet other parents, learn new skills and connect to your child’s school community.
