St. Margaret’s School (SMS) in Victoria is excited to host a second Girls’ STEM Leadership Conference for your female and female identified students in Grades 7-10 on April 26, 2019. The conference theme is “Sustaining Our Future”, and the purpose is to inspire young leaders by sharing stories of integrity, environmental stewardship and green innovation. Dr. Sarika Cullis-Suzuki will be giving the keynote address. To kick off the conference, a student-led Trashion Show featuring the upcycled student fashion designs will take place at SMS on Thursday, April 25 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.

Schools are invited to bring a delegation of up to 10 students. Tickets are $35/student and teacher chaperones are free. Lunch is provided. In an effort to make this opportunity accessible to all students, bursaries and partial bursaries to cover the registration fee are available upon request (email stemcon@stmarg.ca).
