Dear ROMS families,
Thank you for your patience this week as we get through Snowmaggedon 2019! We expect to be back in session tomorrow (Feb 14th), but please stay tuned to local media/school district website for details regarding busses etc. 

Here are some updates regarding cancelled or rescheduled events at ROMS this week:

-Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule the early closure for parent-teacher conferences that was scheduled for today (Feb 13). Please contact your child’s teacher directly to book another time to meet, or set up a phone conversation. 

- The Gr. 8 transition event that was scheduled for tomorrow morning (Thursday, Feb 14) is cancelled. Claremont counsellors will be visiting each of our grade 8 classes next week (Wed, Feb 20th) to hand out course selection forms. Please watch for those forms coming home next week. 

-The Pro G event that was scheduled for the pro-d day this Friday, Feb 15 has been cancelled. Saanich Rec is looking at rescheduling for another pro-d day later in the year.

- A reminder that Friday, Feb 15 is a pro-d day and students will not be in session.

- the volleyball tournament that was scheduled for this Friday, Feb 15th at ROMS is taking place as scheduled.

Looking forward to getting back to normal in the coming days! A big thank you to our district and municipal crews for making our roads and parking lots safe for all!  It has been quite a week!
