As we reflect on the fall, we realize we have many successes to celebrate:

  • The opening of our new Royal Oak Playground

  • The success of our Cops for Cancer, Terry Fox  Run, WE scare hunger, and sock bomb campaigns

  • The significant participation (over 80%) of our students in our various athletic, musical and extra-curricular programs

Beyond these achievements, we are extremely proud to be part of the Royal Oak community.  When visitors come to our school, they always say the same thing; namely, that they are so very impressed with our polite, curious and engaged students.  Our amazing students are led by our talented and dedicated staff who work very hard to ensure that the experience of each and every Royal Oak student is a positive one.

Royal Oak is a vibrant community that continues to develop and grow. This term, the staff has worked on creating an updated vision statement that best suits our community.  This statement reads:

Royal Oak is a community of curious and resilient learners who conduct

themselves with integrity and compassion.

To us, this statement embodies the future of Royal Oak and gives us a renewed focus as we move towards 2018.  From our families to yours, we wish everyone of you a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely

Carly Hunter and Ken Bergeron.
