PAC Meeting: Parents are invited to attend the general PAC meeting on Monday, February 15th. Stu Rhodes will be speaking during a portion of the meeting on the opportunities available to students in the trades area. Stu Rhodes is a District Career Counsellor in Trades Industry training and works closely with Camosun College and local business owners. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about trades programs offered in carpentry, electrical, mechanics and Professional Cooks Training.
Bottle Depot Fundraiser: The grade 8 farewell committee has setup an account at the Bottle Depot. Parents can drop off their recycling to any of the 3 Bottle Depot locations. YOU MUST REFERENCE our "Royal Oak PAC account" PRIOR to the start of them ringing up your recycling. There will also be a bottle drive at the beginning of April and all proceeds will go to benefit the grade 8 farewell.
