Royal Oak is excited to welcome Lyle Henry, a local First Nations speaker, who will speak to all of the students in two assemblies (in block 1 and 2) on Wednesday, November 18.
He will speak on the topics of Residential Schools and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Parents are more than welcome to join us for either one of the assemblies.
