This morning at ROMS there was a scent on the blue floor that smelled like gas. As a precaution, we evacuated the school. The Saanich Fire Department and Fortis BC investigated the concern and determined that there was no problem with gas or air quality. We were very impressed with the way that all students conducted themselves and appreciate the support of the community and the school district. Despite the fact that there was nothing to worry about, this morning's evacuation was good practice for us all.
