to day one of
Survivor ROMS. Today 14
teams will be competing head to head to see who will continue to the
next round tomorrow.
All competitors please come to the gym as soon as possible after
advisory today with
your team donation and ready to play. Competition will commence
quickly at the start of lunch activity. Spectators are encouraged but
must make a donation to the Nepal Earthquake relief fund at the door.
A $1
donation is recommended.
There will be a rehearsal for all grade 6 band students attending the trip to Sidney on Friday tomorrow in block 2. These students also need to return their permission slips as soon as possible.
Remember that tomorrow is early dismissal at 2:08.

Save
your empty bottles and
support the Royal Oak Middle School kids! When bringing bottles in to
the Glanford Ave, Quadra St or Queens Ave Bottle Depots please tell
the cashiers at the beginning of the transaction that
you would like to donate the bottles to Royal Oak Middle School.
At the end of every month the ROMS PAC will receive a cheque if the
balance is over $50. Any money received by the end of this school
year will go towards the Grade 8 Farewell Party.
Grade 6 band students please bring in your permission forms for the trip to Sidney on Friday as soon as possible.
Divisions 8-4, 8-5 and 9-7 will be using the multi-purpose room for a presentation on Friday May 29th in Block 2
Canteen Thursday: chicken nuggets - $2.00, chocolate smoothies – 50 cents and cookies – 75 cents.
A reminder to all students interested in guitar club, that meetings are on Thursdays at lunch in Mr. Menzies room 122. Remember to bring your guitars tomorrow!

PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:
Just
a reminder that the PAC AGM is tonight at
7 pm. (Wednesday, May
27th in
the learning commons) There will be a speaker
from Claremont, as well as the PAC executive elections for
next school year. Exciting news around a NEW
event scheduled for next Fall will
be shared at the meeting... it is a great community event and PAC
will be filling the initial volunteer positions for this fall event.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Grab a friend and come to the
last PAC meeting of the year.
