Royal Oak students Connor R., Jacob J., Peter P., Cole S., Jackson M. and Brodie D., play football for the Victoria Renegades Football Team. Over the weekend they won the Provincial Championship 18-6 going undefeated this year.
Their season started with the team not being in any league. They ended up playing a series of 5 exhibition games, one in the United States, the rest on the mainland (as far away as Vernon). They earned a berth in the provincial playoffs. The team defeated an unbeaten Abbottsford team in the semi-finals and then won the final playoff game this Saturdayin Langley over the North Surrey eagles.
