Leann Rompain played ball this summer for Little League as well as Softball BC. Her Little League team, consisting of A level ball players, beat the Ontario team in a three straight games in a best of five to go on to represent Canada at the Little League World Series for 12 year old girls in Portland Oregon. The girls finished fifth and the first Canadian team in five years to play five hundred. It was a wonderful experience for the girls to wear Canada on their chest, sing the anthem before each game.
I’m sure she will be wearing her jersey for the first day of school.
