ROMS VolleyBall: Reminder to the grade 8 boys competitive teams to check in with Mr. Menzies in the PE office today at First recess to confirm your transportation to today's away game at PCS. Recreational teams play their 3rd and final jamboree this week. Go to lowerislandschoolsports.ca for league details and game schedules for all teams.
Volleyball Practices: Practicing today at SECOND recess is Mrs. Kreiser's grade 8 girls' rec team and Mr. Menzies grade 6/7 boys rec team.
Swim Team: Attention all members of the ROMS Swim team! There will be an important meeting today at FIRST recess at the PE office regarding this 4th and final swim meet of the season this coming weekend on Sunday March 1st. All members of the ROMS Swim Team must attend.
ROMS Hoodies: Now until the end of the day on Wednesday there is a second chance to order a 2020 ROMS Champion hoodie! Order forms are available on the bulletin board outside the PE office as well as sample sizes to try on. Don't delay, the deadline for orders is Wednesday, Feb 26th by the end of the day in Mr. Menzies' hands.

Pan Am Cross Country Athletes: Attention all students who have registered for the upcoming Cross Country Race at Bear Mountain. Please attend a short meeting in Ms. Wheatley's classroom at first recess today. She promises it will be short!
Extreme Team Meeting: Extreme Team members please meet for a meeting in the Blue Conference Room at Lunch Recess today.
Science Challengers: Do you enjoy Science? Would you like to study topics that go beyond the curriculum? Would you be willing to test your knowledge against students from across the city in a competition? If so, please come to an information meeting on Thursday at lunch in Room 230. Uvic’s Kidovate 2020: Get your kids Kidovating this Spring Break! Kidovate is a fun, free youth entrepreneurship initiative of UVIC’s Gustavson School of Business targeting middle school and high school students. Kidovate aims to develop entrepreneurial spirit and acumen by encouraging local youth to make and then sell their goods or services on Kidovate Market Day. This year’s market will be held on Saturday, April 4th at The Bay Centre. There is no cost to participate in Kidovate and there are lots of resources available to help kids be successful. ROMS families are invited to Silver City Movie Theatre on Sunday March 8th at 2pm to watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. We will have the whole theatre to ourselves and a chance to chill out with your kids and other ROMS families.
