Grade 7 Boy’s Basketball: Mr. Sparaneseès Grade 7 boys basketball team played a very hard fought game against Arbutus in the city semi-finals last night but lost a close game 36-33. The boys can very proud of their efforts last night, and get another opportunity in the 3rd place game tomorrow at SMUS at 3:45. Mr. Sparanese would like to meet with the boys today at lunch in room 130 to organize rides to the game.
Basketball: Congratulations to our basketball teams on their performance in the playoffs! Great job Eagles!!
6/7 intra-murals: This week's grade 6/7 indoor soccer intramurals have been postponed until tomorrow. Members of Athletic leadership will visit classes scheduled to play to advise them of their games tomorrow.
8’s Intra-Murals: Notice to divisions 8-2, 8-7, 8-8 and 8-9 of their intra-mural indoor soccer playoff games today at lunch.
Volleyball: Volleyball team selection practices have begun and will continue to take place until the winter holiday. Practicing after school today is all grade 6 girls form 3:15 - 4:45. Practicing tomorrow morning at 8:00am is all grade 8 boys. Please go to the ROMS Athletics website or look on the PE office doors to view the volleyball team selection practice schedule.
Musical Theatre Auditions: Musical theatre auditions continue today after school. Please make sure you come for the time you've signed up for. Two spaces are still available!
Extreme Team: There is an important meeting at lunch recess for Extreme Team members in the Blue Conference Room today at 1:16. See you there!
Toques: Keep warm during the cold weather and buy yourself a toque. Come by Mrs. Ryan's room this week to buy one of these amazing toques for $15.

Coaches needed: At the moment we do not have enough coaches for our boys volleyball teams. If you can help coach a team, please contact Mr. Menzies.
ROMS Volleyball: Please go to the ROMS Athletics website to view the volleyball practice schedule and season details, or have a look on the PE office doors.
Winter Clothing Donations: The Grade 8 Leadership would like to continue the tradition of giving back to our community at Christmas time by collecting new/gently used coats, hats, scarves and mittens for adults and children. The boxes will be placed by the front door and we will be collecting items from December 2 to December 13. The items will then be donated to Our Place during the final week of school.
