Band: All grade 6 flute players have sectionals today.
Jazz Band: There will be a jazz band rehearsal today.
Boys' Group is canceled tomorrow only as Mr. Kenny and Mr. Baer are unavailable. It will be on again the following week.
There will also be a rehearsal on Friday at 1:16 in the band room
Today there will be a final wrap up and ice cream sundae party for all drama club members. Meet on the stage at 1:16. See you there!
Reminder to students, that for the next 4 Fridays, the Claremont PEP team will be in Rm 215 for a light breakfast and games at 7:45. There is only room for 15 students. .

It’s Grade 6’s on the courts today! Tomorrow will be the Gr 7's turn.
Paper Recycling Today:
Just a reminder that it is paper recycling day today. Please make sure that you send a student down with your recycling to the bins at the beginning of Advisory.
The next Youth in Action meeting is this today at 11:23 in Miss Cottier's room to discuss our next campaign initiative!

Badminton: City Championship Tournament qualifying practices have begun and any students interested in representing Royal Oak int his event must attend the qualifying practices or they will forfeit their matches. Practicing tomorrow morning at 8:00 are all grade 7's entering the qualifying tournament.
Reminder to all rugby player's that the Rugby Clinic at UVIC is today. Please see Mr. Reston if you have any questions.
Attention all ROMS students interested in joining the Track and Field Team this year. There will be a season introductory meeting today to go over season details at SECOND recess in the gym. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend. See you there!

We will discuss what students are learning about substance use, sexual orientation, gender diversity and modern masculinity.

2019-20 Registration is ongoing for new registrations coming from Out of District, Out of Catchment, Private Schools or Out of Province. Registration packages are available on-line or at the School Office.
Please note that we will not be hosting an Open House this year (previously held in February). An information evening will be held later in May for all confirmed incoming Grade 5 students including new (grade 6/7/8) registrations coming from Out of District, Out of Catchment, Private Schools or Out of Province.
Returning ROMS students do not have to complete a registration form. Grade 8 students transitioning to Claremont for Grade 9 in September do not have to complete a registration form for Claremont.
Homework Club: Extra academic support is available to students through the homework club. This is a drop in service that will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday mornings from 8-9 am in the Learning Commons, and Tuesday afternoon in Room 215 from 3:10-4:10 pm.
