Boys Group: A reminder that Boys' Group meet today at the Beginning of Advisory in the Blue Conference Room.
Gr 8 Baby Photos: A reminder to grade 8’s that today is the deadline to submit electronically your baby photo to Ms. Cottier.
From the Learning Commons - today's your second-to-last chance to check in with Ms. Lindsay about the writing contest with the March 31st deadline! Need a copy of the rules? Check the display in the LC.
Compost Bins: Empty and wash out compost bins and recycling towers by Friday.
Locker Clean out: All lockers must be cleaned out and inspected by your teacher. We don’t want any food items left in your locker. Take your PE clothes home to be washed.
Recycling stations will be closed down after lunch today in preparation for Spring Break.
Paper Recycling Today:
Just a reminder that it is paper recycling day today. Please make sure that you send a student down with your recycling to the bins at the beginning of Advisory.

Students interested in playing on the badminton team this upcoming season! There will be a meeting today at SECOND recess today to discuss details about the Badminton season and to hand out team information. All interested students must attend.
Colour Clash 2: Colour Clash 2 is happening tomorrow at lunch recess in the gym! Come check out our grade 8 volleyball players as they battle and attempt to make their floor color proud by wiling this epic match-up. Represent your homeroom floor by wearing your floor colors of blue or green tomorrow at school, and come cheer on your team to build school spirit and have fun with your friends. There will be prizes to be won for challenges and for creative colour outfits. See you there!
Girls Rugby: Any girls interested in girls rugby, please meet Ms. Adams today at first recess in the gym for a brief, but MANDATORY meeting. Also, all grade 6 and grade 7 boys interested in playing rugby this season are asked to come to the gym for a mandatory meeting at FIRST recess today. The season start soon, so don’t forget!

Notice to grade 8 boys rugby players of our practice on the first Monday afternoon after Spring Break. Please, return forms to Mr. Stanchfield or Mr. Ravenhill.
Congratulations to the grade 8 boys volleyball team on their performance and winning bronze in the City Finals last night. A big thank you to volunteer coaches Doug Quested and Scott Freeburn for their time and efforts this season! Great job boys!

ROMS PARENT REVIEW:
2019-20 Registration began on February 4th at 8:00 am for new registrations coming from Out of District, Out of Catchment, Private Schools or Out of Province. Registration packages are available on-line or at the School Office.
Please note that we will not be hosting an Open House this year (previously held in February). An information evening will be held later in May for all confirmed incoming Grade 5 students including new (grade 6/7/8) registrations coming from Out of District, Out of Catchment, Private Schools or Out of Province.
Returning ROMS students do not have to complete a registration form. Grade 8 students transitioning to Claremont for Grade 9 in September do not have to complete a registration form for Claremont.
Homework Club: Extra academic support is available to students through the homework club. This is a drop in service that will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday mornings from 8-9 am in the Learning Commons, and Tuesday afternoon in Room 215 from 3:10-4:10 pm.

Thrifty Smile Cards: All grade 6 students have been given a Thrifty Foods Smile Card to help with PAC Fund raising. If your family is not intending to use it, please return it to the school by dropping it into the PAC box outside the school office. In that way, we can re-assign it to someone else. If you would like a card, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
