Boys Group: A reminder that Boys' Group meet today at the Beginning of Advisory in the Blue Conference Room.
Drama club: A reminder that Drama Club begins today with Phil Duchene and UVIC students presenting to our club. We will meet at 1:16 in the drama room. New members are welcome! Come check out this fun club. See Ms Noel if you have any questions.

Grade 8 Farewell Bake Sale: Please bring loonies, toonies and quarters tomorrow to support the Grade 8 Farewell! Baked goods will be sold in the canteen area at first and second recess. Gluten free, peanut free and dairy free items will be available. Thanks for your support!

The sign up for scheduled auditions are up outside of Room 220. Your auditions should be thoroughly practiced at the time of auditions. Auditions will be held during lunch hours. Dances and singing, must have musical accompaniment.. Please bring speakers if you are using your personal device. All acts are welcome!
Paper Recycling Today:
Just a reminder that it is paper recycling day today. Please make sure that you send a student down with your recycling to the bins at the beginning of Advisory.

Members of the ROMS Swim Team are reminded of their swim meet this Sunday at Commonwealth pool from 10am - 1:00pm. Go Eagles!
This week's volleyball practice schedule for all teams can be found on the PE office door and on the ROMS Athletics website. Also, games schedules for all teams can be found at lowerislandschoolsports.ca. Please check these regularly to know when you are practicing and playing games. Parents are reminded to organize and arrange transportation to away games and ensure they have completed all SD63driver requirements if they plan on driving additional students to games.
There will be a mandatory meeting for the grade 6/7 boys competitive team with Mr. Hastings today at FIRST recess at the PE office to discuss transportation to today's game at Lansdowne. All players must attend.
Practicing at SECOND recess today is Mrs. Blaikie's and Mrs. Gill's grade 6/7 girls team and Mr. Ravenhill's 6/7 boys team.
ROMS PARENT REVIEW:
Homework Club: Extra academic support is available to students through the homework club. This is a drop in service that will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday mornings from 8-9 am in the Learning Commons, and Tuesday afternoon in Room 215 from 3:10-4:10 pm.

Thrifty Smile Cards: All grade 6 students have been given a Thrifty Foods Smile Card to help with PAC Fund raising. If your family is not intending to use it, please return it to the school by dropping it into the PAC box outside the school office. In that way, we can re-assign it to someone else. If you would like a card, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
