From the Learning Commons - Ms. Gaudet is away today; we welcome Mrs. Macdonald, who's substituting for her. As Ms. Lindsay will be at a meeting outside the building during advisory and second recess, the LC will be closed during second recess for today only, if it's an outside day. Students are welcome to borrow or exchange library books during advisory.

available to try on from 1-2 pm today.

Athletic Leadership: Reminder to all athletic leadership members of your meeting today during advisory.
Congratulations to all the teams who played their first volleyball game this week! Great start to the season Eagles! Next week’s practice schedule for all teams will be posted tomorrow. Please go to the ROMS Athletics website to view the schedule and see when you are practicing. Parents are also reminded to arrange transportation to away games and ensure you have all the SD63 driver’s requirements completed at the school office.
Practicing at lunch recess today is the 6/7 boys competitive team and Mr. Sparanese’s grade 7 competitive team.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all grade 8 boys volleyball players to confirm transportation to your away game on Monday, today at FIRST recess in the gym office. All players must attend.
ROMS PARENT REVIEW:
Homework Club: Extra academic support is available to students through the homework club. This is a drop in service that will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday mornings from 8-9 am in the Learning Commons, and Tuesday afternoon in Room 215 from 3:10-4:10 pm.

8 FAREWELL BAKE SALE FUND RAISER

Time: 11:23-11:38am & 1:16-1:56pm (First recess and lunch activity time)

Volunteers will be outside the office to accept baked goods.
Please label any items as gluten free, peanut free, or dairy free, otherwise, all baked goods will be accepted! And don’t forget to send money with your child that day to purchase these yummy treats!

Thrifty Smile Cards: All grade 6 students have been given a Thrifty Foods Smile Card to help with PAC Fund raising. If your family is not intending to use it, please return it to the school by dropping it into the PAC box outside the school office. In that way, we can re-assign it to someone else. If you would like a card, please contact email@example.com.
