Early Dismissal Forms: A reminder to all students that in order for you to be dismissed at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 28 you must have a signed permission form. Phone calls are not sufficient. Please do not have your parents phone the school office expecting to leave a message of approval. Forms are overdue so get them in today.
FOUND: A clear retainer was found outside the school a few days ago. Please claim at the office.
From the Learning Commons - thanks again to all students who've been handing in their library books - some divisions are ALMOST done! Others have further to. We're expecting to see a lot of returns after locker clean outs. Thanks in advance from Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Gaudet.
All lockers and desks need to be cleaned out and inspected by your homeroom teacher. There should not be any stickers, writing or tape left in the lockers. Teachers are asked to leave the classroom desks as per normal on Thursday.
All counters and desk tops need to be clutter free for the summer cleaning crew.
The Recycling Stations are now closed. All recyclables will now go in the garbage.
The compost bin is still open. All Recycle towers and compost buckets need to be washed out and kept in the classrooms for the summer.
The two large outdoor green bins, garbage and paper recycling, are both open for you to dispose of your unwanted items.

I AM STRONG: On Wednesday in the Gym at 1;16 immediately following Advisory a Member from the I AM STRONG program will be here to speak to all girls who might be interested in a brand new program that offers exercise, yoga and meditation specifically for young women!! Promises to be fun!!! See Mr. Sparanese for more details!!
All classes please return any sports equipment they may have in their classrooms to the PE office this week. Mr. Menzies will be doing inventory this week and will need all PE equipment to complete this task.
Herb Schuetze, parent coach of senior girls basketball, will be offering general basketball skills training Saturdays at the outside courts from 10:30 until 12:00 throughout the summer. This is not affiliated with the school or school team, but interested grade 7 and 8 girls should contact Mr. Menzies for more information.
Royal Oak will have a final assembly on Thursday, June 28 from 9:15 -10:00. We will have a slide show and some year end fun and goodbyes. Awards have already been presented.
Families are more than welcome to attend this assembly.

The Grade 8 Farewell was held on Monday night and was a huge success! A very special thank you to the members of the fair committees, to Graeme’s Irrigation, and to all the ROMS grade 8 families that donated funds or volunteered their time to help our Grade 8’s celebrate their final year at ROMS. Also, thank you to the Nerf Gun Rental company who donated their Nerf guns for our Australia/Mexico game.
