Band Method Book Return: Reminder to all band students to return method books and renew or return any school instrument rentals today.
Early Dismissal Forms: A reminder to all students that in order for you to be dismissed at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 28 you must have a signed permission form. Phone calls are not sufficient. Please do not have your parents phone the school office expecting to leave a message of approval. Forms are due in today.
Extreme Team members please meet for a brief meeting at the start of morning recess in the Blue Seminar Room.
The Gr 8 Farewell is on tonight fro 6 - 9 pm. Dinner is provided so come hungry. There will be lots of great food to eat for everyone.
Reminder that students need to be signed out at the end of the evening by an adult. If three is a unique situation on how you get home, such as BC Transit, please bring a written note.
This promises to be a fun fill memorable evening to say goodbye to your friends and teachers.

Gym closed: A reminder to all students and staff that the gym will be closed all day today in preparation for the Grade 8 Farewell event this evening.
From the Learning Commons - thanks again to all students who've been handing in their library books - some divisions are ALMOST done! Others have further to. We're expecting to see a lot of returns after locker clean outs. Thanks in advance from Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Gaudet.
All lockers and desks need to be cleaned out and inspected by your homeroom teacher. There should not be any stickers, writing or tape left in the lockers. Teachers are asked to leave the classroom desks as per normal on Thursday.
All counters and desk tops need to be clutter free for the summer cleaning crew.
Popcorn: There will be no popcorn sales today.
The Recycling Stations are now closed. All recyclables will not go in the garbage.
The compost bin is still open. All Recycle towers and compost buckets need to be washed out and kept in the classrooms for the summer.
The two large outdoor green bins, garbage and paper recycling, are both open for you to dispose of your unwanted items.
I AM STRONG: On Wednesday in the Gym at 1;16 immediately following Advisory a Member from the I AM STRONG program will be here to speak to all girls who might be interested in a brand new program that offers exercise, yoga and meditation specifically for young women!! Promises to be fun!!! See Mr. Sparanese for more details!!
Can all classes please return any sports equipment they may have in their classrooms to the PE office this week. Mr. Menzies will be doing inventory this week and will need all PE equipment to complete this task.
Congratulations to the Pink Fluffy Marshmallows on their dramatic win of Survivor ROMS 2018. The Marshmallows outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted all other teams in the competition and some controversy to become champions. Thanks to the member of Athletic Leadership who helped Survivor happen.
Royal Oak will have a final assembly on Thursday, June 28 from 9:15 -10:00. We will have a slide show and some year end fun and goodbyes. Awards have already been presented.
Families are more than welcome to attend this assembly.
