Band Sectionals: All grade 6 percussionists have sectionals tomorrow during advisory in the band room.
Conversation and Activities Club: Please join us for Conversations Club today in Room 227. Meet new friends, learn about other cultures, and practice your English. All students are welcome. Please see Ms. Beristain in room 219 for more information.
Attention all Grade 8s - Last chance to purchase your Grade 8 Farewell Ticket is this week. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday and Friday at lunch. Tickets will NOT be on sale the day of the event. Lots of prizes to win, including a $100 gift card to Mayfair Mall.
The LC will be closed during block 3, advisory, lunch time activity; and during the first 15 minutes of block 4. If you have library books to return during this time, please use the book return in the wall next to the entry.
Lost & Found: Check the lost and found for items that you may have lost. It is overflowing with water bottles and lunch bags. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end of the day on Friday, June 22nd.
Royal Oak Yearbooks are delivered to students who pre-ordered them on Tuesday at 12:46pm! A limited amount of extra yearbooks will go on sale Thursday morning starting at 8am in Miss Cottier's classroom- room 222 for $40! This hot pink wonder is definitely going to sell out so ensure that you come see Miss Cottier in the morning. No reserves, first come first serve. Cash preferable- cheques made out to Saanich School District 63.
GOT DEAD BATTERIES? Bring all your used batteries to room 222, Miss Cottier's room, or the office! Not only are we keeping batteries out of landfills, but each battery you recycle has enough zinc to SAVE THE LIVES OF 6 CHILDREN in Kenya. Get your batteries in by Friday, June 22nd.
Popcorn: On sale at morning recess at the canteen. $1.50 per bag.
After intense competition last Friday, only 8 teams remain in the Survivor ROMS competition. It was a close race but 4 teams were eliminated. The list of teams who survived to participate in the Survivor Final this coming Friday is posted on the PE office door. The immunity idol is still in the schoolyard and it found can be used to help your team in the next day of competition. The idol is at eye level and is in the recess boundary, and is a necklace. Good luck survivors!

The Grade 8 Farewell is only 24 days away and we are in desperate need of more volunteers.
In order for the Grade 8 Farewell event to be successful we are asking you, the parents, for help by donating an hour or so of your time. Please sign up for a time slot through Sign Up Genius at the below link:
