All grade 6 trumpet players have sectionals Thursday during advisory in the band room .
Jazz Band: There will be a jazz band rehearsal on Thursday during lunch recess in the band room. Students who are interested in joining jazz band next year are encouraged to attend.
Boys and Girls Groups Filed Trip
Today both groups will meet in front of the school at 12:20 pm to get ready for the bus ride to the Island View Beach for the Year End celebration. See you all there!
Craft Club: Today at 1:15 in the Art Room. See Ms. Ozi for details.
From the Learning Commons - tomorrow, June 15, is the due date for ALL library books. If you are still needing your novel for a class assignment, no worries, keep it until you're finished, then drop it off in one of our 2 book drops. Next week, lists of overdues will be coming around to classrooms.
GOT DEAD BATTERIES? Bring all your used batteries to room 222, Miss Cottier's room, or the office! Not only are we keeping batteries out of landfills, but each battery you recycle has enough zinc to SAVE THE LIVES OF 6 CHILDREN in Kenya. Get your batteries in by Friday, June 22nd.
Paper Recycling Today:
Just a reminder that it is paper recycling day today. Please make sure that you send a student down with your recycling to the bins at the beginning of Advisory.
Pizza Day tomorrow - $2.50 per slice
will be a meeting for all members of athletic leadership today during
advisory. Please bring your lunch to the gym after block 3.
Day 2 of Survivor ROMS is tomorrow at SECOND recess. Teams that have survived and who will compete are listed on the PE office door. There is an immunity idol hidden in the school grounds that if found, can be used to bypass a challenge during competition tomorrow and help your team's chances of making it to the Survivor Final next week. The immunity idol is at eye level and is within the recess boundaries. God luck Survivors!

The Grade 8 Farewell is only 24 days away and we are in desperate need of more volunteers.
In order for the Grade 8 Farewell event to be successful we are asking you, the parents, for help by donating an hour or so of your time. Please sign up for a time slot through Sign Up Genius at the below link:
If you have already signed up for a time slot, thank you! Please spread the word about this event to other grade 8 parents and encourage them to volunteer.

Recycling! - Please make sure your team recycles and sorts everything correctly before coming to the recycle stations.
