Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am


Band Sectionals:
All grade 6 saxophone players have sectionals
today during advisory in the band room.


Girls Group;
Girls in rotation 2 will be designing their own magnets! They'll take the time to make these into empowering messages, cute quotes, or just fun designs for our lockers. See you in the blue conference room during Advisory.


JDRF: The students who made a donation to the Juvenile  Diabetes (JDRF) cause, had their name put into a draw.  The draw was made yesterday and the winners are:  1st place was Rahul P. and second place was Katie D.. Congratulations Rahul and Katie! Thank you to all students and staff who supported this cause.


Library Books:
From the LC - a reminder from Ms. Lindsay that ALL library books are due Friday, June 15. Start looking for them now!


Canteen tomorrow: Popcorn sold every Wednesday at first recess. Popcorn $1.50,


ROMS SPORTS:

Athletic Leadership:
There will be a meeting today during advisory for all athletic leadership members. Please bring your lunch to the gym after block 3.


Survivor ROMS:
The Survivor immunity idol has been placed in the school grounds. It is hidden somewhere within the recess boundaries at eye level, and if found, it can be used to bypass a challenge in the next day of competition. The next day of competition for Survivor ROMS will be this Friday at lunch recess. The teams who have survived day 1 are posted on the PE office door. Good luck Survivors!

The Grade 8 Farewell is only 24 days away and we are in desperate need of more volunteers.  

In order for the Grade 8 Farewell event to be successful we are asking you, the parents, for help by donating an hour or so of your time.  Please sign up for a time slot through Sign Up Genius at the below link:

Today is Tuesday,  June 12th and here’s the news about what’s happening at ROMS.  Our weather calls for sunny skies and a high of 18 degrees.  



The end of the school year coming faster than a Nascar race car!   Hang on tight and keep seat belt on.

Recycling!   Every item you recycle helps save our planet.  Thanks for reducing and keeping our world clean.

 

JDRF:  The fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes is  now over! There was a draw for students who entered by making a donation and  both winners were from Div 6-1.
