Thank you to all of the students. Parents and staff who attended the Spring Fair on Friday night. Special thanks to all who participated in the events including the dunk tank. To all of the amazing parents who worked so hard to make the Spring Fair a huge success, we could not have done this without you. An extra shout out to the Extreme Team and Mr. Mollard for their fabulous work with the music and parking. It was a fantastic event and fun was had by all!!
All grade 6 flute and clarinet players have sectionals tomorrow during advisory in the band room.
Band MC’s: There will be a meeting for all student MCs for the band concert on Monday during first recess.
Band Concert: The year end outdoor band concert and BBQ will take place tomorrow evening. BBQ starts at 6pm and the concert starts at 7pm.
Conversation and Activities Club: Please join us for Conversations Club today in Room 227. Meet new friends, learn about other cultures, and practice your English. All students are welcome. Please see Ms. Beristain in room 219 for more information.
Popcorn: On sale at morning recess at the canteen. $1.50 per bag.
Reminder to all Athletic Leadership Students that we will be meeting today during advisory. Please bring your lunch to the gym after block 3.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all track and field members attending track meet #4 later today at SECOND recess in the gym. We will be confirming all relay teams as well as transportation at this meeting. The events happening at the track meet later today are: 4 x 100m relay, 4 x 400m relay, 2000m final, and boys high jump. The City Finals are next week, June 6th, and is an all-day event. Attention all grade 8 students! Survivor is coming to Royal Oak. Members of athletic leadership will be visiting your class today to introduce the competition and give you details about sign up and event days. Sign up for teams of 4 will be this Friday, June 1st, in the gym, so talk to your friends and classmates and put a team together.
