ROMS TV Script, May 15

Today is Tuesday, May 15 and here’s the news about what’s happening at ROMS. Our weather calls for full sunshine today and a high of 23 degrees.

The school year is quickly coming to an end.   Start asking your teacher what work is missing!

Did You know?

  • Did you know all the blinking in one day equates to having your eyes closed for 30 minutes

  • Did you know your foot has 26 bones in it

  • Did you know he average human brain contains around 78% water

Ask Your Teacher:

  1. What time are he/she is going in the dunk tank at the Spring Fling?

  2. What day is it on Monday?

Victoria Day is coming this Monday!  This means a 4 day week next week!

Victoria Day is a Canadian statutory holiday celebrated on the Monday preceding May 25 in every province and territory. It honours Queen Victoria's birthday.

The PAC Spring Fling is May 25th!  Make sure you tell your family!

With the nice weather, it is important to make our way outside for fresh air and activity.  There is little need to be in during lunch activity.

Recycling:   Remember - recycling reduces the garbage we send to the landfill!   Think long term folks!

That’s all for today! Be sure to stay safe and wear your seatbelt! ROMS TV Newscast OUT!
