Band Sectionals: All grade 6 flute and clarinet players have sectionals today during advisory in the band room.

Jazz Band: There will be a jazz band rehearsal on Thursday, May 10 during advisory in the band room.

Boys Group: A reminder that Boys' Group meet today at the Beginning of Advisory in the Blue Conference Room.

Chill Zone:
A reminder that Chill Zone meets every Friday in room 225 during outdoor activity. If interested come see Ms. Campbell. Last Chill Zone session is on May 25th. 

Craft Club: Today at 1:15 in the Art Room. See Ms. Ozi for details.

Ms Noel's block 2 and 3 drama class will meet in her classroom today rm 223.  

Paper Recycling Today:

Just a reminder that it is paper recycling day today. Please make sure that you send a student down with your recycling to the bins at the beginning of Advisory.

Canteen Thursday: On sale at first recess in the Canteen is chicken wings, cookies and iced tea.

Pizza Day tomorrow - $2.50 per slice


Athletic Leadership: There will be a meeting for all athletic leaders who are on the Survivor ROMS committee at Advisory today. Please bring your lunch to the gym after block 3.

Rugby: There will be a meeting at FIRST recess for all players on the girls rugby team in the gym. All players must attend.

Track and Field: Reminder to all track and field students that there is a practice tomorrow morning for the 100m and relay teams. All participants in these events must attend. The second track and field meet is Monday after school. Good luck to all students who are participating at today's track and field meet up at UVIC. Go Eagles!

 Royal Oak Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Executive Nominations are now open!
 Elections will be held at the May, PAC Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 17th at 6:30 PM in the Learning Commons. You must attend in person to vote (no proxy voting) and Nominations may be received at the meeting, voting will be by secret ballot.

Science Challengers:  Great effort to the students that went to Uvic for the science challengers yesterday and a big thank you to Mr Azim for taking this on.
