Monday May 7 is Music Monday, the nation-wide day to celebrate music and music education. The grade 7 band will be traveling to Sidney this morning to perform at the Saanich Music Showcase with hundreds of other music students from the district. Be sure to make music a part of your day today!
All grade 6 saxophonists have sectionals on Tuesday, May 8 during advisory in the band room.
Conversation and Activities Club: Please join us for Conversations Club today in Room 227. Meet new friends, learn about other cultures, and practice your English. All students are welcome. Please see Ms. Beristain in room 219 for more information.

Attention badminton players! There will be an important meeting for all students who have qualified to play in the City Finals after school today must attend to discuss details about today's tournament. Good luck to the ROMS badminton team in today's competition at SMUS. Go Eagles!

practice this week as there is a staff meeting. Players are
reminded that they must check in with Ms. Fuller at First Recess on
Wednesday to confirm how they are traveling to and from UVic for our
games on Thursday.
Reminder to the grade 6/7 boys rugby team, and the girls rugby team, of your practices today after school today.
The first practice of the week is tomorrow morning at 8:15. Also, the first meet of the season is at UVIC's Centennial Stadium this Thursday, May 10 after school. All participating students are reminded to return your permission forms to Mr. Sparanese or Mr. Menzies by tomorrow, and final sign up for this meet's events will be at practice tomorrow morning. Spring Fair – ROMS PAC is hosting a Spring Fair on Friday, May 25th from 5:30-8:00 pm on the school grounds. Games2U, Dunk Tank, Raffle Baskets, Silent Auction, Snow Cones, candy bags, and family BBQ (burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, salad, chips & drinks). Please bring the whole family out.
