Band Registration: Band registration forms for next year are due on May 1, any students interested in joining band next year please see Mr. Bridgman for more information.

Chess Club:
Wednesday lunch hour chess has come to an end but if you are looking for a board and a place to play, please check in with Mr Azim.

Dance Club:
A reminder to dance club members of our practice on Thursday this week.

Eagles Club:
All Eagles Club members are invited to attend a meeting today during block 2 in Rm 215. We will begin planning for the Elders Tea.

France:  (PLEASE READ SLOWLY AND ENUNCIATE) Any grade 6 students, who want to travel to France in their grade 8 year, please see Mrs. Ryan at recess today. 11:23.

Mountain Bike Club:
Will all mountain bikers please attend an important and quick meeting today at second recess, in the Art room with Mr. Kenny and Ms. Mah.

Non Instructional Day: A reminder to students and staff that Friday is a Non Instructional Day and classes are not in session.

Pizza Day tomorrow. Pizza order will be Cleanest Grounds day. Helpers Division 6-5.

Science Challengers:
Please return your field trip consent forms to Mr Azim as soon as possible.  Our next study meeting is today at lunch recess.

Popcorn: On sale at morning recess at the canteen. $1.50 per bag.

Canteen Thursday: On sale at recess tomorrow -chocolate chip cookies, mac & cheese & ice tea.


Athletic Leadership: Reminder to all members of Athletic Leadership that this week's meeting will be tomorrow during advisory as Friday is a Pro-D day.

Reminder to all badminton players participating in today's exhibition jamboree versus Cedar Hill today, to come to the gym right after school to help set up. Mr. Goy will be coaching today's jamboree.

Rugby: There will be an important meeting for all girls on the rugby team to confirm details and transportation to today's jamboree in James Bay. All girls participating today must attend. The meeting will be in the PE office at FIRST recess.

Gr 8 Intra Murals;
Notice to all grade 8's of round 2 of Mac Attack intra-murals today at lunch.



Travino Lane: Please avoid going through the Travino Lane development when dropping your son/daughter off at school.  This is a private road.

Art Room Request for Magazines: ROMS families.......Please consider donating your used magazines to the art room. We are in NEED for sports, food, fashion, travel, lifestyle, surf, boating, clothing/shoes....currently we are low in all categories. Just drop them off to the art room! Non Instructional Day: The school will be closed on Friday, April 20th for a Non Instructional Day.

Grade 8 Farewell: The *Grade 8 farewell Meeting *will take place in the learning commons room from *6 pm - 7 pm on April 19th*,  prior to the General PAC meeting.
All grade 8 parents are welcome to attend.

Today is Wednesday, April 18, and here’s the news about what’s happening at ROMS.  Our weather calls for cloudy skies, with some sunshine and a high of 11 degrees.    


Lost and Found:    Have a look for your missing items.   You know where to look!

Lost:  A size 12 black and white Adidas running shoes.  If you know where these shoes are, please bring them to the office.  


All the best to our grade 6 and 7 band classes as they perform today in their festival performance.
