Band Sectionals: All grade 6 saxophonists have sectionals today during advisory in the band room.


Band Festival: All grade 6 and 7 band students should arrive at school in uniform at 7:50am on Wednesday morning to prepare for the band trip to the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival.  Grade 6s will meet in the band room, grade 7s in the art room.


Band Registration: Band registration forms for next year are due on May 1, any students interested in joining band next year please see Mr. Bridgman for more information.


Chess Club:
Wednesday lunch hour chess has come to an end but if you are looking for a board and a place to play, please check in with Mr Azim.


Dance Club:
A reminder to dance club members of our practice on Thursday this week.


Eagles Club:
All Eagles Club members are invited to attend a meeting on Wed. during block 2 in Rm 215. We will begin planning for the Elders Tea.


France Trip 2020: Any grade 6 students interested in going to France in their grade 8 year, please see Mrs. Ryan at first recess today, in Room 234.


Girls Group:

Rotation 1 girls will meet at the Blue Conference during Advisory. See you there!


Lost Shoes: There was a pair of Adidas Running shoes that went missing from the boys change room last Monday.  The shoes are black and white and size 12.  If you know anything about these shoes please let the office know.

Science Challengers:
Please return your field trip consent forms to Mr Azim as soon as possible.  Our next study meeting is tomorrow at lunch recess.


Canteen Tuesday: On sale during first recess today at the Canteen is pizza, cookies and iced tea.


Canteen tomorrow: Popcorn sold every Wednesday at first recess. Popcorn $1.50,

ROMS SPORTS:

Badminton:
Attention all badminton players! There will be a very important meeting at FIRST recess for all students involved in badminton this season to discuss tomorrow exhibition match versus Cedar Hill. All students who intend to play tomorrow must attend. Also, this meeting will be the last chance to sign up for the qualifying tournament for those who intend on competing to qualify for the ROMS tournament team. See you there!

Field hockey: All field hockey players are reminded of their practice after school today. 3:15-4:15 in the gym.  Bring an extra sock for your stick.

Gr 8 Intra Murals;
Notice to all grade 8's of round 2 of Mac Attack intra-murals Wednesday at lunch.

Travino Lane: Please avoid going through the Travino Lane development when dropping your son/daughter off at school.  This is a private road.

Art Room Request for Magazines: ROMS families.......Please consider donating your used magazines to the art room. We are in NEED for sports, food, fashion, travel, lifestyle, surf, boating, clothing/shoes....currently we are low in all categories. Just drop them off to the art room! Non Instructional Day: The school will be closed on Friday, April 20th for a Non Instructional Day.

Grade 8 Farewell: The *Grade 8 farewell Meeting *will take place in the learning commons room from *6 pm - 7 pm on April 19th*,  prior to the General PAC meeting.
All grade 8 parents are welcome to attend.
