ROMS TV Script, February 26th

Here is your afternoon ROMS TV News report

S1: Hello! I’m ____________________

Today is Monday, February 26, and here’s the news about what’s happening at ROMS.  The weather calls for  sunny skies with some clouds and a high of 5 degrees.

Two days left in the month of February.   March 20th is the first official day of spring!  Are you ready?

2018 Olympic Games are now over!  Canada won 14 Gold, 14 Silver and 11 Bronze medals.  This placed Canada in 3rd place in the world!  Well done Canada!

Did You know?

The population of Mars consists entirely of robots.

There are more fake flamingos in the world than real flamingos.

To produce each week's Sunday newspapers, 500,000 trees must be cut down. Recycling a single run of the Sunday New York Times would save 75,000 trees.

Ask your teacher:   Where will the 2022 Winter Olympics be held?

Gym Strip:  reminder that your gym strip should go home every week or two for washing.  You do not want to be the student with smelly gym strip.

Cell Phones:  We should not be seeing cell phones in the hallways before school, during recess or at lunch!  Phones need to be locked up in lockers unless they are being used with the supervision of your teacher.

Grade 8 Students:   Grade 8 students will be going to Claremont today to see the Musical Annie.  The bus leaves at 11:15 and returns at 1:45.

This concludes our ROMS TV Newscast for today.  If it happens, it happens on ROMS TV

We will see you tomorrow with a News update on ROMS News!
