ROMS TV Script, February 19th

Here is your afternoon ROMS TV News report

S1: Hello! I’m ____________________

Today is Monday, February 19 , and here’s the news about what’s happening at ROMS.  The weather calls for clouds with sunny periods and  a high of 10 degrees.

Nine days left in the month of February.  This week we have cold temperatures.  Be sure to dress warm!

Did You know?

Since the beginning of the space age, humanity has been sending robotic emissaries to all corners of the solar system. These represent some of the most complex technological undertakings ever conceived. Travelling for years and even decades to their destinations, they have helped form a modern picture of the solar system, replete with the bizarre but also the familiar, that is very different than the views held by previous generations. This year promises to enrich our collective conscious with new vistas of the lunar landscape, close-up views of space rocks that might one day threaten the Earth

Recycling:

  • Recycled paper produces 73% less air pollution than if it was made from raw materials.

  • 12.5 million tonnes of paper and cardboard are used annually in the UK.

  • It takes 24 trees to make 1 ton of newspaper.

Ask your teacher:  What  Friday is!

Lost and Found:  Check out the lost and found for your missing items.  Everything  will be taken away at the end of this week.

Grade 8 Students:  Claremont  Counsellors are here today at Royal Oak to give out your Claremont course selection form.  Be sure to get this back ASAP!

This concludes our ROMS TV Newscast for today.  If it happens, it happens on ROMS TV

We will see you tomorrow with a News update on ROMS News!
