ROMS TV Script, Monday, December 18

Here is your afternoon ROMS TV News

S1: Hello! I’m ____________________

S2: And I’m _____________________

Today is Monday, December 18, and here’s the news about what’s happening at ROMS.  The weather calls for cloudy skies with a high 8 degrees.  We have had awesome weather for December!  Sweet!

There are now 07 days until the big guy in red with large items comes in the middle of the night!   Be sure you make your bed every morning.   Santa knows.

Did you know:

  • when lightning strikes it can reach up to 30,000 degrees Celsius (54,000 degrees Fahrenheit)

  • spiders are arachnids and not insects

Playground:   The new play structure will finally be open today at recess and lunch.  Due to the demand, we will have grade 6’s only on the structure.  We will have gr 7’s use the structure tomorrow.   This has been 3 years in the making.

Holiday Clean up!  Let’s start hauling home those personal items that are lurking in your locker.   All lockers need to be clean and inspected for the holiday season.  We do not want any fruit flies or mold growing in our lockers over the holidays.

Pizza day: 4 days to our last Friday Pizza day for 2017

Sock Bombs:  Remember to keep building your class sock bombs!  The more the merrier.  They are due this week.

Bus passes:     Always have your bus card out and ready to scan as you load the bus.

Recycling:  Paper coffee cups go in paper recycling.  They are not to go in the milk recycling bins!   Be sure to keep your paper bin emptied this week.  The big recycling bin will be open all week to allow classes to clean out your rooms!

Field Trips:  If you are going on a field trip this week, make sure you have all the required expectations met.   No forgetting your forms and fees!

Music in the Hallway:  This week, you will hear our band students playing Holiday music in the hallways!   Happy holidays!

This concludes our ROMS TV Newscast for today.  If it happens, it happens on ROMS TV

We will see you tomorrow on ROMS News!
