ROMS TV Script, Wednesday, December 5

Here is your afternoon ROMS TV News

S1: Hello! I’m ____________________

S2: And I’m _____________________

Today is Wednesday, December 5 and here’s the news about what’s happening at Royal Oak.  The weather calls for mostly cloudy skies with some sunshine and a high 6 degrees.   Winter appears to be here!

This is our last month of school in 2017 and  there are now 20 days until the big guy comes down the chimney.    Are you on the nice list?

Did you know:

Canada’s lowest recorded temperature was -81 degrees in `1947

The Holiday season is fast coming upon us.  It is time to start thinking about cleaning out the locker and your classrooms.  Santa really likes clean lockers.  He knows if your locker is clean or not!

Lost & Found: Once again the lost and found is bursting at the seams. Please check for your lost or missing items as soon as possible. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity by the end of the day on Thursday, December 14th. Don't miss out !!

Playground:   The construction of our new playground structure is  almost ready.    We are still waiting for wood  chips around the climbing bars.  Until that happens, the structure is closed for our use.

Grounds cleaning:  has your class been out on a grounds clean up lately?   When we all do our part, we can make a difference.

Report Cards:  Reminder to students that report cards will go home this  Friday.  Students are to return the envelope  with a parent or  guardian signature.

Bus passes:  Be sure to keep your bus pass is a safe place.  If you lose your bus pass, it will cost you $10 to replace it.   Students who have registered late, will be getting a card soon.   If you do not register, you will not be getting a card.   There is now a backlog of bus pass requests.  More will be coming, but we have to be patient.

This concludes our ROMS TV Newscast for today.  If it happens, it happens on ROMS TV
