Archery Club: There is an important meeting for all members of the archery club, with Mr. Kenny in the art room, this morning at recess.
New Bus Passes:
Students who have registered for the school buses should have received a bus card yesterday from your teacher. If you did not receive one, this means your parents have not registered you. The busing is free but all students who ride the bus need to be registered. Students need to swipe their card when loading and unloading the bus. Keep your card secure and in a safe place.
From the Learning Commons - TODAY is the deadline for getting in your Polar Expressions writing contest short stories to Ms. Lindsay - tomorrow will be too late! Must be handed in to her no later than 3:15 pm today.
Picture ID in the LC:
Did you know, if you received a new bus pass card yesterday, you can use it to sign out a book? Any picture ID with a bar code will help you sign out a book faster! Your parents know what you look like without the card - Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Gaudet are still learning. Please help them out, and yourselves, by using your card in the LC.

There is an important Youth in Action meeting Thursday at 11:23am in Miss Cottier's classroom.

Paper Recycling Today:
Just a reminder that it is paper recycling day today. Please make sure that you send a student down with your recycling to the bins at the beginning of Advisory.

Pizza Day tomorrow - $2.50 per slice
the Grade 7/8 Girls recreational team on
a well played season! The girls wrapped up their last game last
night, they played hard right until the end. Eagles on 3!
Congratulations to the 7/8 girls competitive team on their huge quarter-final win over Monterey. The girls overcame adversity and came together as a team to beat Monterey 35 to 26. They are on to the semi-finals next Monday. Go Eagles!!
Gr 6/7 Girls Competitive team: Today's practice is canceled for the grade 6/7 competitive team. Please see Ms. Fuller about organizing our wind up party!
Gr 8 Boys Competitive: Congratulations to the gr 8 boys basketball team who ended their season with a convincing 44-24 win over Dunsmuir last night. Great teamwork and textbook "pick and roll" by Jaden and Tyler. Outstanding!!
Mr. Sparanese would like to have one final meeting at first recess on Friday. You won't want to miss it!

Today is Thursday, November 30 and here’s the news about what’s happening at ROMS. The weather calls for mostly cloudy skies with rain showers and a high 9 degrees.
This is our last of November and there are now 25 days until the big guy in a red comes. Make sure you are on his nice list. Tomorrow will be December 1st

Today is paper recycle day. If you have not already done so, please take your blue paper recycle bin out to the large green dumpster.
Playground: The construction of our new playground structure is coming along fast. The play the structure is done but the workers they still need to put a wood frame around the structure and fill it with wood chips.
Boundaries: Reminder we are asking students to stay out of the bush area on the south end of the playground.
