Recycling: A reminder that today is paper recycling day. Please make sure to send your blue bins down to the recycle bin during advisory.

Drama Class:

Ms. Noel's Drama classes in block 2 and 3 will be in room 223 today!

Band Sectionals:
There is a grade 6 Trombone, Baritone and Bass Guitar sectional today at 12:46 in the Band room. Please bring your lunch!

Stage Band:
There is a Stage band rehearsal today at 1:15 in the Band room. All members must attend!

Remembrance Day Assembly:

A Reminder tomorrow is Remembrance Day.  We are asking all students to make a donation to the poppy fund tomorrow.  The assembly will be a formal setting. It would be  great to see students dress accordingly. 

All students that are in the assembly will have a dress rehearsal tomorrow during block 1.

Youth in Action:
Youth in Action meeting Thursday at 11:23am in Miss Cottier's room.

Craft Club: Today at 1:15 in the Art Room. See Ms. Ozi for details.

Eagles Club:

There will be an important meeting for all Eagles club members this Thursday in block 3 and advisory in the green conference room.  Please see Ms. Broome if you can not attend.

Boys Group:

Reminder about Boys' Group Meeting at the Beginning of Advisory in the Blue Conference Room. 

Canteen Thursday:

On sale at first recess today: Burritos, cookies, hot chocolate.

Madame Espedido:

We would like to wish Mme. Espedido a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY. She is turning a half-century today! WOW, be nice to her today, stop by and say Hi, and wish her well. 

Pizza Day tomorrow - $2.50 per slice



Congratulations to the senior girl's basketball team on a commanding game over Glanford. The team played hard the entire game to take home the win for the ROMS Eagles. We are looking forward to our next regular season game against PCS. 

There will be a very important meeting at FIRST recess today for all boys on Mr. Menzies ' grade 6/7 recreational basketball team who are playing this afternoon at St. Joseph's. All players must attend.

Reminder to all boys on the competitive boys 6/7 team, you have a practice today at SECOND recess. Warm-up jerseys will be handed out at practice.

Grade 7/8 Girls Rec: Congratulations on your competing in your first game last night! Our practice schedule has changed for next week, we will be practising on Wednesday after school from 3:15-4:00. Please let Ms. Dallimore know if you can't make this new practice time. 

Grade 8 Boys:
The gr. 8 boys basketball team played one of their best games of their season beating the Sabres of  St. Andrews High School in convincing style.  An  all around great team effort!! Well Done Boys!!

Google Docs Training Session

Thursday, November 16th

5:45-6:45 pm in the Learning Commons

We will be hosting an interactive Google Docs training session for parents and guardians prior to the PAC meeting on Thursday, November 16th from 5:45-6:45 pm in the Learning Commons. You may bring your own device or use a computer from the Learning Commons. Google educators will share their knowledge and help us learn technology and terminology that is being used in the classrooms. Come learn with us! Please join us immediately after for our next meeting.

Thrify Smile Cards:

All grade 6 students have been given a Thrifty Foods Smile Card to help
with PAC Fund raising.  If your family is not intending to use it, please
return it to the school by dropping it into the PAC box outside the school
office.  In that way, we can re-assign it to someone else. If you would
