Drama: All drama classes will be moved into the Learning Commons today due to Grade 6 immunizations being held in the Drama Room.
France 2018 Trip: Meeting today for all Grade 8 students traveling to France in 2018. Please meet in Madame Ryan's room at 1:15 pm today.
Vocale Ensemble & Band Sectionals cancelled today.
Today's meeting is for Rotation2. We will be walking to Brydon Park, please meet in the Blue Conference Room right after class ready to go. Make sure you pack a lunch as we will all eat at the park together and then play some disc golf! See you there!
Judo: A reminder to that Judo club is today after school in the MPR from 3:15-4:45 pm. See Mr. Mollard if you cannot attend.
Canteen tomorrow: Popcorn sold every Wednesday at first recess. Popcorn $1.50,
Youth In Action:
There is an important Youth in Action meeting on Thursday at 11:23 in Miss Cottier's room to discuss our We Scare Hunger Campaign!
Apples for Maya Fund raiser – Caramel apples will be on sale on Thursday during both morning recess and at lunch activity time. $3 for a caramel apple, and $4 for a decorated caramel apple!
Halloween Spooktacular: Tickets are $10 each and will be sold outside the office during lunch activity time every day this week. Don't miss out on this spookie event.

Grade 7/8 Girls Rec:
There will be a very important meeting for all girls interested in playing on the 7/8 girls recreational basketball team during first recess today in the gym.
Grade 7/8 Girls Competitive:
Could all Grade 6/7 Girls Competitive Basketball players, please check in with Ms. Fuller at FIRST recess in Room 124 on the GREEN floor in the WOLF Hall and let her know how they are getting to today's game at Central Middle School? That's FIRST RECESS!!! Thanks.
Gr 8 Boys Competitive:
Congratulations to the Gr. 8 boys Basketball team who started their season with a WIN over the Dunsmuir Dragons by a score of 55-35. Excellent distribution by the point guards enabled nearly every Eagle to hit the score sheet. The boys play their first home game tomorrow at 3:45, Spectators Encouraged!!
There will be a very brief meeting in Ms. Wheatley's room today at !:15 for all athletes who participated in this year's Cross Country season.
Today is day 2 of the grade 6/7 indoor soccer intramural tournament. Reminder to divisions M-1, M-2,
M-3 and M-4 that you are scheduled to play today at SECOND recess. Please come to the gym after advisory, dressed in PE strip, ready to play. Athletic Leadership students on the green squad are asked to come to the gym by 1:00pm to help set up.

One of Royal Oak Middle School's precious treasures, Maya and her family need our help. Maya suffers from a rare genetic disorder called MPS. She is currently in Children's hospital in Vancouver recovering from open heart surgery and is waiting to have surgery on both hips. Thrifty Smile Cards:
have been accepted by Thrifty Foods to take part in their Smile
Program to earn up to $2500 this school year! Thrifty Foods will give 5%
of what you spend on groceries to our school! As in the last few years,
the PAC will be sending out a Thrifty Foods Smile Card to each grade 6
family. The card is easy and free to use - you pre-load it with an amount
of your choice and use it like a cash card. If you don't want to use your
card, please return it to the PAC Box outside the office. Thanks for
