Popcorn: On sale at morning recess at the canteen. $1.50 per bag.


Grade 6 Immunizations: All Grade 6 immunization forms are due in today. Please remember to bring your forms to your homeroom teacher.

Learning Commons Crew: today's LC Crew members are Olivia, Kylie and Danielle. Please arrive by 1:20. Tomorrow's crew members will be Yechan and Caleb.


Terry Fox:
A reminder to all staff and students that everyone will be participating tomorrow in the Annual ROMS Terry Fox Marathon of Hope: Gr. 6 and 7 classes will take part in the morning all then all Gr. 8's will take part in the afternoon.  Please remember your donation, your gym strip and running shoes!  

Cops 4 Cancer:

This is our big cancer fund raising week. Every class has been given a container to collect the COPS 4 Cancer money. If every class could sent the money down on an envelope daily so we can track it on the growth chart.
Remember the challenge is to get Ms Hunter into the dunk tank!

Grade 8 Hoodies: October 6 th is the deadline to order your Grade 8 hoodie. There will be size samples to try on during lunch recess in the main foyer on Friday October 6th.


ROMS SPORTS:

Athletic Leadership:
There will be an important meeting for all students who have applied to the Royal Oak Athletic Leadership team at Second recess in room 130, Mr. Sparanese's room. All applicants must attend!


Swim Club:
All students interested in swim club, here will be an introductory meeting to kick off the 2017/2018 ROMS Swim team season tomorrow at FIRST recess. All students who are interested are encouraged to attend as details of the season will be handed out at the meeting.

ROMS PARENT REVIEW:


Grade 6 immunizations

FORMS DUE TODAY!!!
Recently immunization consent packages for grade 6 students were sent home from the school. If you have not already done so, please return the completed consent form to the school in a sealed envelope as soon as possible. Students in grade 6 will be offered immunizations in school-based clinics with the consent of a parent(s) or representative. Please contact the local Health Unit at  250-544-2400 and ask to speak with a Public Health Nurse if you have any questions. Immunizations will be provided at the school for grade 6 students on October 24, 2017.

Grade 8 families,
This is the last week for Grade 8 students to order the Grade 8 hoodie.
There will be sizes to try on *Oct 6th* in front of the office. This will
be the last day to order.  You can place your form with payment attached
into the PAC BOX across from the office any day this week.  Cheques or cash
are accepted.  Please make cheques out to "ROMS PAC".  Extra Hoodie forms
and help with the grade 8 farewell forms are at the office and on the PAC
website.


Coupon Books: A friendly reminder to all students and parents to please hand in your coupon book orders or return the coupon book to the office asap.

Please complete information forms package and return them to Homeroom teacher asap.
