All soccer players are reminded to hand their permission forms to Mr. Menzies ASAP as tournaments are happening this week.

This afternoon the grade 7/8 boys soccer team hosts Gordon Head and Dunsmuir here at ROMS. There will be an important meeting for all boys for this team, today at FIRST recess in room 130, Mr. Sparanese's room.

Also after school, the grade 6/7 girls soccer team will be practicing and preparing for their tournament tomorrow at Cedar Hill Middle School.

All players are encouraged to touch base with Mr. Menzies if they are not sure about something and to go to lowerislandschoolsports.ca for league details.

Grade 7/8 Girls Soccer:

There will be a meeting for 7/8 girls soccer in the PE office during Advisory today. See you there!

Orange Shirt Day:

Orange Shirt Day is this Friday. Remember to wear orange on Sept 29 to honour and remember the 150, 000 children and their families who were affected by the Indian Residential School System in Canada. There will be a photo for all students and staff at the front of the school at the beginning of recess. (Run Sept 25 to 28th.)

Coupon Books: A friendly reminder to all students to please hand in your coupon book orders or return the coupon book asap.

Eagles Students:

A reminder to all Eagles students who are visiting classes at advisory today to meet Ms Noel at the very beginning of advisory in the blue conference room.

Canteen: Tuesday: Pizza bread $2.50, Iced tea-50 cent, cookies-$1.oo

Athletic Leadership: Grade 8 students interested in applying to Athletic Leadership are reminded to get your applications to MR. Menzies by today. Please see him if you are not sure how to apply, or need clarification.




Home work club has begun:

Extra support will be available to students on the following days:

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00 am in Room 215 and

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:10-4:10 pm in Room 215

Welcome Back, Meet The Teacher BBQ – Wednesday, September 27 - 4:00-7:00 pm Everyone Welcome!! There will be burgers, cheese burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs & drinks for sale!! Country Grocer cards gift cards will be sold at the barbecue, all money raised goes directly back to the PAC. Thrifty's Small Cards will be available for pick up.
