2) Health Fact:

What did coaches see in Michael Phelps that led them  to believe he had a special talent?

They saw a tremendous competitive spirit, no matter what he was doing. The first time he was noticed,  he was playing games with his friends behind the pool, and it was clear from just watching that he loved to win and he hated to lose

3)  Our Japanese Students will  be leaving tomorrow morning.  Their time with us has come to an end. Today they are having a culture fair in the learning commons during block 4.  Classes that have signed up are reminded to drop in.

4)  Our grade 8 boys play in the city championship this week.  Be sure to cheer them on!

5)  Lost and Found - the lost and found will be taken away on Thursday.  Be sure to check for your missing items.
