Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Congratulations to all of the ROMS students who won the BC Junior Bantam Football Championship yesterday in a tough match against the Chilliwack Giants. Well done !!

Games Club: The Games Club will be meeting in Room 125 at 1:16 pm.

Canteen Tuesday: On sale at recess -chocolate chip cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents and mac & cheese $1.50.

Conversation and Activities Club:
Attention all students from other countries and who speak other languages:  Come out every Monday to room 227 for conversation, games, and snacks!  Meet new friends, learn about other cultures, and practice your English. All Royal Oak students are welcome to join us. Please see Ms. Beristain in room 219 for more information.

Judo Club: Judo is canceled tomorrow. See Mr. Mollard for questions.


There will be a brief meeting for all grade 8 competitive boys, today at FIRST recess at the gym. All players must attend.


We are in great need of recreational coaches or parent supervisors for the upcoming season. Please email Mr. Menzies if your parents can help facilitate a team. We had many students interested and the season is right around the corner!

Good afternoon Royal Oak! Here is your TV News stories for Monday, December 5th

Did you know the first day of winter is December. 21 which is also the shortest day of sunshine.

Did you also know there are only 9 days left until the Winter Holidays and 4 days until your term 1 report cards go home! How exciting!!

1) The recycling stations on the Green floor was much better on Friday! Thank you for doing it right!

2) Today's weather calls for some sun, but mostly rain and a high of 4 degrees. The forecast also calls for snow flurries on Thursday! Let's hope!

3) Students, if your parents won the bid on the silent auction at the craft sale we still have a few items that need to be picked up.

4) Volleyball at Royal Oak is big. We need more coaches to keep up with the demand. If you parent has coaching experience, we could use them to help coach our teams.

5) Report cards go home on Friday! Be sure to take them home and return the envelope on Monday!

6) The question that you need to ask yourself for the next 20 days is... Which list are you on??
