Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Drawing Club: There is Drawing Group today in Ms Noel's room on the blue floor during outside activity time. Please bring a journal, pencil crayons,felts, pencil,sharpie and glue.

France Craft Fair: There will be a small craft sale on Friday during advisory in the multi-purpose room. Please bring money to help support the students going to France this year. Items are about $5 and under.

France Trip 2018: All students in grade 7, who are planning to go to France in their grade 8 year, there is a parent and student meeting tonight at 7pm in Mme Ryan's room.

Eagles Club:
Eagles club meets tomorrow at 1247 in the green conference room. Bring your lunch. See Ms. Noel if you have any questions.

Friends Of World Wildlife Fund: On sale outside the canteen tomorrow at morning recess there will be hot chocolate for $1. All proceeds will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund.

Canteen today: Popcorn on sale at first recess today. Popcorn $1.50,

Canteen Thursday: On sale at recess tomorrow -chocolate chip cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents, burritos-$1.00

Grade 8 Farewell Hoodie
The PAC has decided to place a second and final order of Grade 8 hoodies. Order deadline: Friday, December 2nd. Size samples will be available in the main foyer today at lunch recess and tomorrow at morning recess only!



Grade 6/7 Girls Competitive: Congratulations to the 6/7 competitive girls basketball team on a huge win in a close game against Dunsmuir to go undefeated in the regular season. Good luck in the playoffs girls!!

Grade 6/7 Boys Recreational:
Attention grade 6/7 boys on the recreational team. There will be a practice today after school from 3:15 - 4:30. There will also be practice tomorrow morning at 8:00am. See you there.

Grade 6/7 Boys Competitive:
Attention all grade 6/7 boys competitive basketball players. Your practice is canceled today at lunch recess. However, the practice is rescheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:00. 6/7 recreational boys are also welcome to attend if interested.

Volleyball: We are in urgent need of coaches & parent supervisors for the upcoming season. Please email Mr. Menzies if your parents can help coach a team. We had 163 students show interest yesterday at the meeting, so coaches are needed! Check out the Athletic webpage and bulletin board for more information and schedules.

Did you know today is the last day of November. 25 more days and the big guy in a red suit will be coming down your chimney

Did you also know cats have over 100 vocal chords. That is a lot of vocal cords.

1) Grounds clean up! Is your class is sending students out to do your part to make a difference. Every piece of litter off the grounds makes a difference. Just do it!!

2) The recycling stations continue to need careful sorting. Please sort all items correctly. If teachers would send the same trained students that would be helpful.

3) Report cards are soon be going home on Dec 9th. Many teachers have now started term two. Be sure to set new goals to make those needed improvements.

4) Grade 8's Reminder tomorrow is your last day to order a Gr 8 Hoodie!

5) Today's weather calls for cloudy skies and a high of 9 degrees. Did you know that it has rained 21 out of 30 days in November?

Grade 8 Farewell Hoodies:

Attention Grade 8 Families:

FINAL Opportunity to Order your Grade 8 Farewell Hoodie

There has been an overwhelming response to the Grade 8 Farewell hoodies this year! Because of this, the PAC has decided to place a second and final order.

Hoodies will only be available to “try on” WEDNESDAY, November 30th at lunch recess and THURSDAY, December 1st at morning recess.

**Make sure you order the correct size, come try on your hoodie before ordering!!! There will be no returns or exchanges made after the order has been placed.

Order forms will be available at the table during the “try-on” times.

Hoodies are $40. Cheques are to be made out to ROMS PAC. Cash also accepted. 

Don't miss this out on this final opportunity - no other orders will be placed.

All orders must be handed in by 3:10 pm on December 2nd.

Craft Fair:

Thank you to all the staff, students and families who participated and
volunteered at the ROMS Community Craft fair. It was a great way to start
the festive season.

office as soon as possible to pay for it and pick it up.
