Craft Fair: A huge thank you to the students, staff and parents who volunteered their time to help make the 2016 Craft Fair a success! And a special thank you to those who attended the Craft Fair, thank you for your support!

Drawing Club: There will be an extra drawing club today at activity time so students can finish art to decorate for the winter festival concert. Held in Ms. Noel's room.

Games Club: The Games Club will be meeting in Room 125 at 1:16 pm.

Canteen Tuesday: On sale at recess -chocolate chip cookies, smoothies and mac and cheese. Cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents, mac & cheese $1.50

Conversation and Activities Club:
Attention all students from other countries and who speak other languages:  Come out every Monday to room 227 for conversation, games, and snacks!  Meet new friends, learn about other cultures, and practice your English. All Royal Oak students are welcome to join us.  Please see Ms. Beristain in room 219 for more information.

France Trip 2018 Any grade 7 students who want to go to France in their grade 8 year, please meet in Mme. Ryan's room at 1:16 today for an important meeting.


Congratulations to the 6/7 girls competitive basketball team who are undefeated this season! Come cheer the team on in the last game of the regular season here at ROMS TOMMOROW at 3:45 against the only other undefeated team - the Dunsmuir Dragons.

Grade 8 Boys Recreation Basketball:
Attention all grade 8 recreational boys basketball players. There will be a mandatory meeting in Mr. Stanchfield's room at FIRST recess to discuss transportation to today's jamboree at North Saanich. All players must attend if they want to play today.

Grade 8 Boys Competitive Basketball:
There will be a mandatory meeting for all grade 8 competitive boys basketball players today at FIRST recess in the gym to discuss transportation to your game today at Dunsmuir. All players must attend.

Please note that the meeting for Grade 8 students going to France this school year with Mme. Ryan will be held tomorrow at 1:16 pm and not today as mentioned in the announcements this morning.

1) The Royal Oak Craft and Gift Sale was a big success on Saturday. A Big thank you to all the student helpers that came out on Saturday to support the event.

2) Grounds clean up! Let's make sure your class is sending students out to do your part to make a difference. No need to feel guilty, just do it!!

3) The Royal Oak Band concert is tonight! Be sure to come on out to support your peers as they perform!

4) The recycling stations continue to need careful sorting. Please sort all items correctly. Hard plastic goes into hard plastic. There is a pattern!

5) Report cards are soon coming out. If you have not asked how you are doing, please do so today so you can obtain the best marks on your report cards!
