Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Learning Commons: The Learning Commons will be closed for a District Training Session tomorrow and Thursday.  Please make sure you get everything you need to read TODAY!  Also note this closure includes before school and both recess breaks, so be prepared to go outside on both days.  

Voice Ensemble:
There is a very important Vocal Ensemble rehearsal on Wednesday November 9th. All members must attend!

Band Sectionals;
There is a grade 6 saxophone sectional today at 1:16 in the band room.

Extreme Team: Extreme Team members who are helping with set up for Remembrance Day please see Mr. Mollard at morning recess to pick up your permission form.

Craft Club: Today at 1:16- 1:56 at room 125. (Last day June 7/16)

France Trip: All students going to France this year please meet at 1:16 today in Mme. Ryan's Room.

Pizza Day: This Thursday is Pizza and Pellegrino Day - Pizza is $2.50 a slice and Pelligrinos are $2

Canteen today On sale at recess - Cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents

Judo: There will be no Judo today as there is a staff meeting after school.

We will see you back on the mats next week.

Canteen tomorrow: Popcorn sold every Wednesday at first recess. Popcorn $1.50, 


Reminder to basketball teams of the altered practice schedule this week due to the Remembrance Day assembly in the gym. Teams practicing tomorrow morning are the grade 8 girls at 7:45am, and the 6/7 boys recreational team at 8:00am. Please see the schedule on the athletics web page for further details.

Grade 6/7 Girls Recreational Basketball - There will be a meeting today at First Recess in Mrs. Smyth's room 231 to determine rides to the game today at PCS. Attendance is mandatory if you plan to play in the game today.

Intra murals: Notice to divisions 8-1, 8-2, 8-6 and the combo 8-7/8-8 team of their indoor soccer playoffs Wednesday at lunch.

1) The Royal Oak will be our Craft and Gift Sale is coming soon to RO! ! Saturday, November 26 is the day! Students are welcome to put in a craft table and get a student rate.

2) Come out tomorrow to see the Grade 8 teams play their intramural soccer games at lunch in the gym!

3) Our Remembrance Day ceremony is this Thursday at 10:40. Please bring in your donation to the poppy fund Thursday morning.

4) Do not forget about homework club in Rm 215 that happens 5 times a week!

5) Please keep putting the outdoor sports equipment, that you use at recess and lunch, in the blue bins. This makes Mr. Menzies very happy!

6) For those who have received interim report notices, make sure you return them signed to your teachers.

7) Congratulations to all the Gr 8 Students who participated in the rowing regatta this weekend!

This concludes our season for the rowers this year! Well done rowers!

Gr 7 students you need to think about this sport for next year!

8) Friday is a statutory holiday for Remembrance Day which means no school. Monday is also a Professional Development day which means a 4 day weekend for students.

9) Reminder that Thursday is Pizza Day! See notices posted in the hallways!
