Claremont Students: Today we have Claremont students attending ROMS for work experience and volunteering their time with our students. They should all be wearing visitor badges so that we can identify them easily. Please welcome them to ROMS!!

Conversation and Activities Club:
Attention all students from other countries and who speak other languages:  Come out every Monday to room 227 for conversation, games, and snacks!  Meet new friends, learn about other cultures, and practice your English.  All Royal Oak students are welcome to join us.  Please see Ms. Beristain in room 219 for more information.  

Teen Fest:
Free Tickets to Teen Fest have been given to Homeroom teachers.  There are extras at the office if any students would like more for friends or family members. Teen Fest is this Saturday at Pearkes Rec Center. 


Basketball: The grade 6/7 boys rec team practices today after school.

Intramurals: Notice to divisions 8-2, 8-3 and 8-6 of their intra-mural soccer games today at lunch.

Did you know that rabbits like licorice? Yes they do

Please remember to always put your candy wrappers into the proper recycle bin or garbage. We do not want to see litter on our school grounds!

1) Get ready RO! The Royal Oak will be our Craft and Gift Sale November 26th. If you are interested in putting in a craft table, there is a special rate for students. Go to the PAC web page to register.

2) Recycle Stations need attention. Please put recyclable items in the correct bin. We are spending a lot of time resorting. Sending the same students who know how to sort each day helps!

3) Game 7 Of the World Series is on tonight! Who will be the winners??

4) “We Scare Hunger” campaign is on!. Remember to bring in your food items!! 2 days to go!

5) Our Remembrance Day ceremony is coming up next week. Teachers have bee provided with Donation cans and poppies which will be given out on Nov 10. Please be sure to bring in your donation to the poppy fund!
