Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am


Percussion Sectionals: There is a grade 6 Percussion sectional at 1:16 in the Band room today. 


Ms. Fuller's Block 3 PE Class: Please bring a pen or pencil to the gym today to write your Ultimate quiz before we begin basketball.



Teen Fest:
Free Tickets to Teen Fest have been given to Homeroom teachers.  There are extras at the office if any students would like more for friends or family members. Teen Fest is this Saturday at Pearkes Rec Center. 


We Day:
We Day meeting is TODAY at 11:23 in Miss Cottier- this is mandatory for all participants attending We Day!


Craft Club: Today at 1:16- 1:56 at room 125. (Last day June 7/16)


Canteen today On sale at recess - Cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents


Judo: Judo club after school today in MPR at 3:30 pm


Canteen tomorrow: Popcorn sold every Wednesday at first recess. Popcorn $1.50,



ROMS SPORTS


Basketball: There will be a very important meeting for all Grade 8 Boys Competitive Team members this morning at FIRST recess in the gym. All players must attend to discuss tomorrow's game at Arbutus. In addition, grade 8 competitive boys are reminded of their practice after school today. 


The grade 8 girls competitive team practices tomorrow morning at 7:45, and the grade 6/7 boys rec team practices tomorrow after school.


Intramurals: Notice to divisions 8-2, 8-3 and 8-6 of their intra-mural soccer games Wednesday at lunch.

Did you know that birds need gravity to swallow food?


We Trust everyone had a great Halloween last night! Please remember to put your wrappers into the proper recycle bin or garbage. We do not want to see litter on the ground!


1) The next big event at Royal Oak will be our Craft and Gift Sale November 26th. If you are interested in putting in a craft table, there is a special rate for students. Go to the PAC web page for details on how to register.


2) Homework club is on! See you there tomorrow morning between 8 am and 9 am.


3) ROMS TV News will no longer be broadcast on Friday's


4) “We Scare Hunger” campaign is on!. Three more days left to bring in your food items. You can change our world RO!


5) A big thank you to everyone who helped out and came to our Halloween Screamfest! The Vortex tunnel was definitely a big hit!


6) Come watch the Gr Intramural games at lunch tomorrow. 8-2, 8-3 and 8-6 will be playing.


We are looking forward to Ms Merel Middle School appearing again on our News station. She is booked for Novermber 24 to give us further advice.
