Screamfest is tomorrow and Friday from 6-9 P.M. Tickets are available at the door. There will be a dunk tank, so come and dunk Ms. Hunter, Mr. Goy, Ms. Cottier and Mr. Menzies!

Canteen today: Popcorn sold at first recess for $1.50.

Canteen Thursday: On sale at recess - Cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents

Canteen Friday:  During first recess, Pellegrinos and Cheese Sticks will be on sale for $2 each in the canteen. 

There is a Vocal Ensemble rehearsal today at 1:16 in the Band room. New members are still welcome. 

Drawing Club: There is Mindful Drawing Group today in Ms Noel's room on the blue floor during outside activity time. Please bring a journal, pencil crayons, felts, pencil, sharpie and glue. 

An Iphone has been found and turned in to the office, if you have lost an Iphone, please come to the office to claim.


Grade 8 Girls Basketball: All players are reminded of their meeting in Miss Fuller's room - 124 on the Green Floor today at FIRST RECESS to organize our rides to Monterey.  Remind your friends.  Everyone must attend!

Cross country runners please drop off your Driver Form to Mr Azim at recess today. Our last race is tomorrow at Juan de Fuca.

Good afternoon Royal Oak! Here is your TV News stories for Wednesday, October 26th

Did you know Ms Cottier and Mr. Goy absolutely love cold water Dunk Tanks? In fact they are going to be in the dunk tank on Thursday and Friday during Screamfest! Be sure to bring your money to dunk your teachers!

1) There is now one sleep until Screamfest 2016! Screamfest is finally here! This year's event is beyond big! Beyond scary! Beyond Fun! You can still buy tickets at the door. Remember students need to have parents attend as this is a family event and bring extra money for the many events!! The Haunted walk is scary! Do not go in alone!

2) Reminder to students that there are to be no cell phones visible as you walk down the hallways. Cell phones are only allowed in classes with teacher permission or outside at recess and lunch times.

3) ROMS News will no longer be broadcast on Fridays as it is too busy of a day!

4) If you want to fit in and be a totally Cool Middle School Student, then you need to tune into ROMS TV on Thursday. There is a very special expert coming to ROMS TV to teach you how to be cool in school! Stay tuned and tell all your friends to watch ROMS TV Thursday. All we can say it will be a very informative event to hear this one of a kind speaker!

5) Purdy's chocolate orders books have been delivered to your classes to take home. All orders are done by on line shopping. No orders or booklets come back to the school. Be sure to take this book home to your parents to help out our PAC group.

6) “We Scare Hunger” campaign is on! Let's do our part to change our world by scaring off hunger! Every can helps!

7) There have been 12 extra spots allotted to RO this year for “We Day”. Talk to Ms Smyth , Ms Espedido or Ms Cottier for details.

Home work Club. Extra support will be available to students on the following days:

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00 am in Room 215 and

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:08-4:08 pm in Room 215
