Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

All students traveling to France, please meet in Mme. Ryan's room at 1:16 today. 

There is a grade 7 rehearsal at 1:16 in the band room.

Craft Club: Today at 1:16- 1:56 at room 125.

Canteen today: On sale at recess - Cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents.

Canteen tomorrow: Popcorn sold every Wednesday at first recess for $1.50.


Congratulations to Charlotte W, and Jakob E.N. for participating in the 2016 BC Summer Games and becoming medalists. Way to go!

Judo is back on the mats today after school.  See you in the MPR!

Grade 8 Girls Basketball: All players are reminded of their meeting in Miss Fuller's room - 124 on the Green Floor on Wednesday at FIRST RECESS to organize our rides to Monterey.  Remind your friends.  Everyone must attend!

Good afternoon Royal Oak! Here is your TV News stories for Tuesday, October 25th

Did you know Ms Hunter loves cold water Dunk Tanks? In fact she is going to be in the dunk tank on Thursday and Friday during Screamfest! Be sure to bring your money to dunk Ms Hunter!

1) There are now 2 days until Screamfest 2016! Yes just 2 days! You can still buy tickets at the door. Friday is almost sold out so come early. Remember students need to have parents attend as this is a family event! The Haunted walk is beyond scary! Don't come alone!

2) Reminder to students that there is to be no “ear buds” in your ears as you walk down the hallways. Ear buds are only allowed in classes with teacher permission.

3) As of this week, ROMS News will not broadcast on Fridays as it is too busy with pizza day!

4) A great job with “Drop Everything and Read” event yesterday! Ms. Prevost was very impressed with how many students were reading all at once! ! Good job Royal Oak!

5) If you do not know how to be a Cool Middle School Student, then you need to tune into ROMS TV on Thursday. There is a special Guest News Anchor is coming to ROMS TV! Stay tuned and tell all your friends to watch ROMS TV Thursday. All we can say it will be a very informative ... and an very interesting presenter!

5) Purdy's chocolate orders books have been delivered to your classes to take home. All orders are done by on line shopping. No orders or booklets come back to the school. This is PAC fund raiser!

6) Remember to bring in your non perishable food items for the “We Scare Hunger” campaign. Let's do our part to change our world Royal Oak! See the display outside the office!

7) We Day students! Be sure to check the posted list as to who is going! There have been 12 extra spots allotted to RO this year! Sweet Deal!!!

Home work Club. Extra support will be available to students on the following days:

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00 am in Room 215 and

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:08-4:08 pm in Room 215
