Games Club: The Games Club will be meeting in Room 125 at 1:16 pm.


Canteen Tuesday: On sale at recess - Cookies $1.00, smoothies 50 cents


Screamfest tickets on sale Thursday at 1:16 pm outside the office. $5. each


Found: Soccer cleats were found outside on Friday morning. Please claim at the office.



ROMS SPORTS



Congratulations to the grade 8 rowing team on their successful regatta last weekend. Teams battled the weather to complete their races, but in the end everything ran smoothly. Thanks to Ms. Bevan who was there to help lead our team.


Reminder to the grade 8 boys recreactional basketball team of their practice Monday at lunch. See Mr. Stanchfield with any questions. 


There will be a basketball practice for all grade 6/7 players on the recreational division team today after school. Please be there on time in PE strip. That 6/7 rec boys basketball practice today after school.

 


Reminder to all grade 6/7 competitive girls of your basketball practice today at SECOND recess. All players must attend.


Our next cross-country race has been rescheduled back to the original date of October 27 at Juan de Fuca so our meeting for today is cancelled.  We'll see you at practice on Tuesday morning.

Good afternoon Royal Oak! Here is your TV News stories for Monday, October 17th.


Did you know that if you combine all the ants in the world, they’ll weigh about the same as if you combine all the people?


There are now 10 days until Screamfest 2016! Get your tickets on Thursday and Friday. Remember students need to have parents attend. Parents can volunteer to help run the events. The Thursday evening is almost sold out. The Friday evening is quickly selling out as well so get your tickets fast!.


1) Photo Retake day is this Wednesday! . Be sure to bring in your original photo package to the photographer.


2) Parent Teacher interviews are this Tuesday and Wednesday. Students will be dismissed at 2 pm to catch the buses.


3) Grade 8's - Get your 2017 Hoodie! Today is the last day to put your order in!


4) Screamfest is still needing your parents as volunteers. Remind your parents!


5) Remember Gr 8 girls that you have your practice today after school!


6) Congratulations to the students who are going to the Me to We Day. Great to see all the amazing projects in efforts to make the team!


7) Thursday will be Pizza Day this week due to the NID on Friday! Be sure to tell your parents.

Yes, it's Pizza Thursday this week. $2.50 per slice. There will also be San Pelligrino for $2.00

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00 am in Room 215 and

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:08-4:08 pm in Room 215
