Attention grade 8 ROMS students: grade 8 farewell hoodies are available to order and purchase at the lunch break from Wednesday to Friday this week. Try them on, pick up an order form and bring back with payment ASAP. LIMITED TIME OFFER...ACT FAST!!


Found: Set of Toyota keys with Bear Mountain Athletic Club tag on them. Please claim at the office.

Lost & Found – The lost & found is very full. Please check it and see if any items belong to you! Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity on Tuesday, October 11th.

Cross Country:
There will be a lunch recess meeting (right after advisory) TODAY in Mr. Azim's run for all cross country runners competing in the meet at Beaver Lake on Thursday. We will be arranging rides. Please bring completed orange forms.

Good afternoon Royal Oak! Here is your TV News for Wednesday, October 5th


Did you know Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing.


The Toronto Blue Jays faced the Baltimore Orioles last night, in a sudden-death game, that sent one team on to the Division Series and one team end their season. Who was the winning team?


The count down is on Royal Oak! There are 22 days until Screamfest 2016? The Get your tickets Thursday at Lunch outside the office.


1) Who is Ms. Espedido? Ms Espedido is both new and a veteran teacher to Royal Oak school She taught many years at RO before taking a year to go teach at Lochside Elementry. Ms Espedido has taught many subjects with French being her speciality at RO. Ms. Espedido is a very creative, caring and very humorous teacher who is looking forward to being back at RO as a grade 8 teacher this year.


2) ROMS extra curricular sports is well underway! If you have any questions about school sports, Mr Menzies is the person you want to talk to in the gym.


3) Photo packages are coming your way in the next day or so.! Photo Retake day will be October 19


4) Lost and Found! The lost and found closet is full. If you have lost any gym strip, shoes or clothing, you need to check out the lost and found this week before it is taken away.


5) It's Fire Prevention Week is next week! Classes are asked to make sure exit doors are not blocked and there is not too much paper items attached to the class walls.


6) Outdoor PE equipment: If you borrow a basketball or soccer ball from the blue bin at recess, you are asked to return it. Mr. Menzies would really appreciate your efforts with this regards.


7) Thursday morning! Remember that Thursday is the teacher meeting morning. Only students on sports teams or students going to the Learning Commons can come in before the morning bell.


8) Who is Mr. Stanchfield? Tune in tomorrow to find out the details on this Gr 8 teacher!

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00 am in Room 215 and

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:08-4:08 pm in Room 215
